G&I Islas Industries was founded in 1988 by Gonzalo Islas. The business started in his home garage in the city of Baldwin Park California and has become the one stop shop for all parts related to tortilla, chips, pita, pizza, pasta, and pies.

In his beginning venture he was simply a distribution company but with Gonzalo Islas’ ambition his company grew into a full blown machine shop. Growth of the company lead to him being able to provide services to other industries outside of the flat bread industry with the help of automated machinery and software.

Gonzalo’s company continues to provide the service you expect from a family run business. Sales and service has always been provided by the Islas family personally with Gonzalo Islas, Alfredo Islas, and Ansurio Gaeta providing outside sales and support, Sara Islas managing customer service within the office, and Israel Islas handling the design and engineering department.

In 2006 the Islas family saw an opportunity to expand and opened a 13,000 square foot distribution warehouse in Grand Prairie Texas in order to cut shipping cost to clients in the east coast and to better serve those in the state of Texas. G&I Islas Industries continues to grow each day and does so by delivering quality products and exceptional service.
